Today! 12/14/2005

So here it is 11/30/2005
I'm busy examining its registration data to see if anything can be changed. Probably not but I'm going along with it since the folks at Interop seem to think I should.

And it is now 12/13/05.
The show actually was better then I thought.
I spent more time then I figured wandering around and meeting people. Those that recognized the meaning of the company name wisely said that they liked it.

Strangely enough the ones from Microsoft did not react when they saw me. I suspect who I am may be spreading through the entire Microsoft structure. It does not bother me.

The ones from AT&T actually seemed to be interested in what I happened to be doing within their region of cyberspace. And the VOIP people actually looked interested when I explained my, ah, areas of expertise.

And it is finally 12/14/05.
It happens that I’ve completed my scheduled time with visiting Interop this year. Perhaps next year the show will have more vendors. It turns out that the folks at Microsoft did react when I drifted by this time. Perhaps they were just busy.

And my activities with the companies that provide products and services that interest me were interested in my thoughts regarding the older PDF files from Avaya. Within logical reason of course. Obviously if I had more time to pursue this I would be able to explain in greater detail where I am coming from. However today I decided against it. I did make one useful contact. They make hardware that provides an Ethernet to anything connectivity. And one hardware vendor makes a Power over Ethernet delivery solution for the VOIP community that is almost guaranteed to make one think.
